How your brain works is a truly wonderful little animated video from the Guardian Newspaper on, yes you've guessed, how the brain works.

I’m a sucker for a good explainer video and this, like many of the Guardian's learning assets, has it all. It has a faux-homemade quality that, coupled with the movement and SFX, engenders a unique tactility. The judicious use of humour and metaphor are fundamental to creating a highly memorable explanation of how the brain works.
